Mainstreet Launches Consumer Blog
Our organization, Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, has been around since 1921. We are located in Downers Grove, Illinois and our 11,000+ REALTOR members work throughout Chicagoland.
One of our primary goals is to be the advocate for private property rights in DuPage County, Western and Southern Cook County (144 towns and villages). We'll be talking a lot about private property rights in future posts so stay tuned as protection of your property rights has become increasingly important in this current environment.
So what are we hoping with this blog? Well, we're really trying to give you a local perspective on real estate – one that you're not really getting in the news much. You're hearing a lot about housing values and sales declining nationally but what does that mean for you, a home buyer/seller/owner in suburban Chicagoland? There is a lot to think about. And we want to provide you with solid, accurate information as you try to make sense of it all.
